A Week of Theft and Attempted Theft in Greenwich Includes Multiple Cars Entered in Milbrook Area

Greenwich Police carSix cars were gone through in Milbrook and the vicinity in the overnight hours of Feb. 23.

According to Greenwich Police, the owner of a Jeep reported that quarters were taken from the vehicle, which was parked in the driveway.

Cars were also entered on streets including West Brother, Mallard and Wildwood.


 

Also, according to Lt. Gray of the Greenwich Police Dept, on the night of Feb. 23, an unlocked home on Lincoln Ave in Old Greenwich was entered. Residents reported that the items missing included cash, documents.


On Wahneta Drive in Old Greenwich residents reported that around 4:00am, while there were sleeping upstairs, they were awoken by noise downstairs. According to Greenwich Police, the residents came downstairs and found the door partially open. They looked outside just in time to see a small, dark color car driving away.


Up on John Street in back country, a 2014 Toyota Tundra pickup truck left in the driveway with the keys inside, was stolen.


Lastly, copper was reported stolen from a construction site at Round Hill Community Church at 395 Round Hill Road on Feb. 26.
