Men Charged with Trespass at Shell Station

Two men were arrested by Greenwich Police early Monday morning after they were spotted on the property of the Shell Gas Station on East Putnam Ave in Riverside.

The gas station was closed when around 2:00am Greenwich Police officer on patrol saw a car stopped on East Putnam Avenue. “Officers saw people coming from the gas station toward the car, which was suspicious,” Lt Slusarz said. “He stopped them and asked what they were doing. They gave him a song and dance.”

Tyquan Catala, 28, of New York was charged with criminal Trespass 3 and Interfering with an Officer/Resisting. His bond was set at $5,000. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 26, 2018.

A second man, Sheldon Todd, 28, of E 232nd Street in Bronx NY, was found to have two extraditable felony arrest warrants from Ohio. He was also found in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was charged as a Fugitive from Justice and Illegal Possession.  His bond was set at $50,000 which he was unable to post. He was assigned a court date of March 26, 2018 in Stamford Superior Court.
