Man Charged with Breach of Peace after Following Driver He said Cut Him Off

On Friday, April 8 at 9:51am Greenwich Police responded to Greenwich Hospital on a report of a verbal argument between a man and a woman.

According to Police, the woman said an unknown man had followed her down North Street, all the way to the Greenwich Hospital parking garage, where he positioned his car behind hers and began yelling at her, saying that she had cut him off on Monday.

According to Greenwich Police, the woman was extremely fearful, visibly shaking and hysterically crying.

Through further investigation it was determined John Slattery, 43,  of 254 Canoe Hill Rd in New Caanan, had followed the woman to the hospital to confront her about cutting him off, and had started the argument. Mr. Slattery was issued a misdemeanor summons and charged with Breach of Peace 2nd degree. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Stamford Superior Court on April 19.
