On Nov. 18, Greenwich Police investigated a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Byram Rd and Richland Road that took place at about noon. Investigation revealed that Francisco Rodriguez, 52, of 59 Oak St in Port Chester, failed yield to an oncoming vehicle on Byram Rd, causing a motor vehicle collision. After the collision, Rodriguez fled the the accident scene.
A short time later, Rodriguez was located and placed under arrest for Evading Responsibility and Failure to Grant Right of Way at an intersection. He has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 2. His bond was set at $500, which he posted and was released.
