Greenwich Police arrested Anthony N Capalbo, 54, of 7 Memorial Drive in North Salem, NY following a collision in the area of King St and Sherwood Ave on Sunday, Oct. 26 at approximately 6:00pm.
According to Greenwich Police, officers responding to a car accident on the west side of Town determined that a car traveling south on King St had crossed into the opposing lane of traffic and struck a utility pole. While speaking with the driver, Anthony Capalbo, Jr, officers noticed his eyes were watery and bloodshot. Capalbo failed to complete standard sobriety tests, and later, a breath test confirmed that he had an elevated blood alcohol level. He was charged with DUI and failing to Maintain Lane. He was released on $250 bond and has a court date in Stamford Superior Curt on Nov. 3, 2014.
