High Bond for Man Who Violated Protective Order in Greenwich

Timothy Joseph Mahoney, 50, of 135 Lake Rd in Far Hills, NJ, was arrested on Aug 15 after police investigated a report of a possible violation of a protective order. Police determined that Mr. Mahoney contacted the victim, which violated a current protective order.

Mahoney was arrested on two counts of Violation of a Protective Order.

He was able to post his $25,000 bond and assigned a court date of August 16, 2016 at Stamford Superior Court.

Prior to the Aug 15 arrest, Mr. Mahoney was arrested in Greenwich on Aug 13 after police received a report of physical violence. According to the investigation, Mr. Mahoney had grabbed the victim, causing scratches and bruising to  the arms, and had restrained the victim from leaving the location. Mr. Mahoney was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Restraint 2nd degree. He posted his bond of $300, and was released. He was assigned a court date of Aug. 15.
