Greenwich Police responded to the area of 77 Oak Ridge Street on a report of a black Toyota Camry being driven by a woman who struck and damaged a car parked on the side of the roadway and leave the scene.
Police say that on OCt 25, upon returning to the scene, the woman, Esmeralda Osorio, 57, of Greenwich who was identified by her Connecticut driver’s license was observed to have bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on her feet. Also, police say she had the odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath and person.
Police say the river was unable to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was charged with Evading Responsibility/Injury/Property Damage an DUI.
Her bond was set at $500, which she was able to post. She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 8.
