Greenwich Woman Charged with Breach of Peace Twice in One Day

Greenwich Police charged a local woman with Breach of Peace on Thursday, twice.

Police say several units responded to Greenwich Town Hall at about 8:30am on Thursday on a report of a disorderly person in the Human Resources Department.

The woman was later identified as Sarah Reilly, 34, of Greenwich.

“According to witness accounts, Sarah Reilly was causing alarm to employees within the department,” police said in the criminal information summary. “Reilly was continually belligerent and constantly using profanity toward the witnesses to the extent that they felt fearful.”

Reilly was able to post the required minimum 10% bond option on her $5,000 bond.

Later the same morning around 11:00am, Reilly was issued a misdemeanor summons for Breach of Peace 2 after police say she caused a disturbance in the lobby of the public safety building.

“Her behavior disrupted routine business and caused alarm to other people there,” police said in the CIS.

She was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on March 8, 2023.
