The Greenwich Police Dept Scholarship Fund will commemorate a historic milestone this fall with the 130th Anniversary Greenwich Policeman’s Ball on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Riverside Yacht Club.
The black-tie gala will bring together community leaders, residents, supporters of law enforcement, and friends of Greenwich Police.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greenwich benefit the Greenwich Police Dept Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit organization that awards college scholarships to eligible children of Greenwich police officers based on academic ability, character, and financial need.

The evening will begin at 6:30pm and will feature dinner, dancing and special tributes. Co-chairs are Stephanie Dunn Ashley and Joe Kelly.

“Reaching 130 years is an extraordinary milestone for the Greenwich Police Department and our entire community,” said Greenwich Chief of Police Jim Heavey in a release.
“This celebration is about honoring the generations of officers who have served Greenwich with integrity and professionalism, while also investing in the next generation through scholarships that help students pursue their dreams.”
