Greenwich Police Swear in New Officers

Chief James Heavey would like to introduce the newest members of the Greenwich Police Department. Richard Shaw, Jack Livingston, and Robert Pascale were sworn in by Greenwich First selectman Fred Camillo on Monday.

They will start immediately at the Police Academy in New Britain, CT.

Jack Livingston was raised in Farmingdale. He attended Farmingdale State College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned a Bachelors in Business Management as well as minoring in economics and legal studies. In college Livingston played lacrosse and served as vice president of the school’s Economics Club.  He was also a member of the International Business Honor Society and International Economics Honor Society.

Richard Shaw was raised in Manhattan. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College in 1995 and then went on to receive his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2000. Shaw is a First Lieutenant in the New York State Guard and earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. He has also served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Westchester County Public Safety Emergency Force.

Robert Pascale is from Stamford. He attended Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Bachelor of Science in Economics.  He also received the Smeal College Business Fundamentals Certificate.

While attending Penn State, Pascale studied anti-terrorism while abroad in Italy. He has a passion for volunteering and sports.  He dedicates his time to various local charity organizations and continues to enjoy football and lacrosse.
