Greenwich Police say nearly two dozen motor vehicle break ins were reported last week on the east side of town.
According to Lt. Kraig Gray, the break-ins were concentrated in the area between Sheephill Rd and Havemeyer and between the Post Road and Palmer Hill.
One particular resident in the Havemeyer Park area reported their car had been targeted three times recently.
“The whole east side has had a higher instance of thefts from a motor vehicle than the rest of town,” Gray said. “But it can happen anywhere. Lock your car doors and take your valuables out,” he advised.
