On Dec 22 around 2:00am, Greenwich Police were checking the registration status of vehicles coming off I-95 south at exit 2 when a vehicle with an expired registration came up.
Investigation revealed that the driver, Christopher S Nicotra, 44, of 196 Pine Creek Ave in Fairfield, had a suspended license due a past DWI.
Nicotra was charged with Driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Operating Motor Vehicle Under Suspension-Alcohol.
He was able to post his $250 bond and assigned a court date on Jan 5, 2018.
