Greenwich Police Charge Two with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny

On Friday afternoon Greenwich Police arrested two people after plain clothes officers observed behavior consistent that of subjects committing a financial crime in the area of Greenwich Avenue.

On scene investigation revealed that Xin Mei Wang, 62, of Flushing, NY,  conspired with Xiaoqi Huang, 47 of Jackson, NJ and a third person to attempt to make a purchase over $20,000 using a line of credit that was opened for fraudulent purposes.

Mr. Huang was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 1. He was unable to post his bond of $100,000 and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 25, 2025.

Ms Wang was charged with Criminal Attempt Larceny 1 and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 1. Her bond was set at $250,000, which she was unable to post. She shares the date in Stamford Superior Court with Mr. Huang.
