Greenwich Police have arrested Christopher Link, 58, in connection with an ongoing investigation into multiple vandalism incidents involving property damage caused by projectiles in the areas of Putnam Hill and Putnam Park.

Police said that over the past several months, they received multiple reports of damage to residential windows, vehicles, and property consistent with BBs or small caliber projectiles.
A significant incident occurred overnight on March 26, 2025, when several projectiles struck an apartment window, some penetrating the glass and causing damage inside the residence.
Forensic analysis indicated the projectiles originated from a direction consistent with Link’s residence.
Further investigation revealed similar damage to vehicles and residences in the immediate area, with multiple recovered projectiles, a .22 caliber bullet, and surveillance evidence linking the trajectory to Mr. Link’s apartment.
On April 14, 2025, probable cause was developed for Christopher Link as the offender and an arrest warrant was granted.
Link turned himself in to Greenwich Police Headquarters.
He has been charged with the following:
* Two counts of Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree (C.G.S. 53a-63)
* Two counts of Illegal Discharge of a Firearm (C.G.S. 53-203)
* Two counts of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree (C.G.S. 53a-117)
Link was released on a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court.
