Mr. Chimblo was charged with Failure to Store Firearm Re: Minor Access (11 counts), Illegal Possession Assault Weapon (5 counts), Illegal Possession Large Capacity Magazine Ineligible (12 counts), Violation Lwr Recvr/Frame Restrictions (4 counts) (CGS 53-206(a) is the Connecticut General Statute that prohibits carrying certain dangerous and deadly weapons without a written permit from a town, city, or borough official), Conspiracy to Commit/Viol Lwr Recvr/Frame Restrictions, Risk of Injury to Child, Criminal Possession firearm/Amm/Dfns Weapon (6 counts), Violation Standing Criminal Protective Order.
His bond was set at $5,000,000, which he was unable to post and remained in Greenwich Police custody.
