Greenwich Man Charged with Violation of Protective Order

On Wednesday a Greenwich man surrendered at police headquarters on an outstanding warrant for Violation of Protective Order.

Police say Brad Zackson, 62, sent the victim an email that violated a protective order. The incident took place on June 18.

Zackson was processed and released after posting the required 10% of his bond, which was $5,000.

He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court the following day, June 30, 2022.

Zackson was also arrested by Greenwich Police at the end of May. He was charged with Illegal Possession of a Firearm for an incident incident took place on May 13 on Taconic Road.

Police said Mr. Zackson was in possession of a firearm in his house despite not legally being allowed to own a firearm due to a felony conviction in New York many years ago.
