On Jan 22 around 1:30pm, Greenwich Police responded to the CVS on West Putnam Ave on a report of a shoplifting incident.
Investigation determined that Antonio Gagliardi, 76, of Hollow Wood Lane in Greenwich had secreted over $50 worth of merchandise within his jacket and left without paying for the items.
Police caught up with Gagliardi and charged him with Larceny 6.
He was released on a promise to appear and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 6, 2019.
