On Tuesday around 6:00pm Greenwich Police officers responded to the area of 90 East Putnam Ave on a report of a motor vehicle crash where one of the vehicles attempted to back out of a parking space and collided with another vehicle.
Police said that while officers were en route, the driver left the scene without providing his driver’s license, registration or insurance information to the other party.
Officers located the evading vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle stop, which revealed that Richard F. Kriskey Jr, 56, was operating the vehicle. After he was unable to perform standardized field sobriety tests to standard he was charged with DUI, Evading Responsibility, and Unsafe Backing. He was able to post his $300 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 16, 2024.
