DUI for Driver Stopped at Greenwich Avenue Construction Site

Just after midnight on Tuesday Greenwich Police officers were detailed to the area of 359 Greenwich Ave on a report that another officer working a road job was with an impaired driver.

Upon arrival officers observed a vehicle stopped by the officer working the road job and the accused, later identified as Alejandra Bolanos Rodezno, 27, of Yonkers, in her driver’s seat talking to the officer.

The officer working the road job told the responding officers that Ms Rodezno had been driving south on Greenwich Ave and had stopped behind the construction site for an extended time. When he conducted a welfare check, he found her to be impaired.

When the responding officer spoke to Ms Rodezno he observed her to display signs of alcohol consumption, had trouble answering questions and was not able to maintain her focus. She declined to participate in standard field sobriety tests.

She was charged with DUI and after posting her $300 bond (7% cash option) was released. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 17, 2024.
