On Sunday, Sept 2 around 6:30pm Greenwich Police patrolling West Putnam Avenue in the area of Edgewood Drive spotted a white Mercedes Benz swerving in the roadway.
Police stopped the car and while speaking to the driver, identified as John Pastore, 72, of 50 Lafayette Place in Greenwich, detected the odor of alcoholic beverage.
Pastore was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI and Failure to Drive within Established Lane.
He was released on $250 bond and has date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 17, 2018.
