A Greenwich man, Max Anker, 23, was arrested by Westport Police on August 16 for an incident stemming back to July 30, 2025.
Based on an active arrest warrant, Mr. Anker was taken into custody by Greenwich Police on Saturday and turned over Westport Police.
According to the CT Judicial Branch website, Mr. Anker was charged with Assault on Public Safety Officer (Class C Felony), Attempt to Commit Assault on Public Safety Officer (Class C Felony), Interfering with Officer/Resisting and Breach of Peace 2.
According to Westport Patch, Mr. Anker allegedly assaulted a public safety officer during an incident at Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport, where he was suspected of being intoxicated, allegedly arguing with club members and refusing to leave when asked.
According to the Judicial Branch website, Anker’s bond was set at $75,000 which he was able to post. He was released from custody and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 9, 2025 at 9:00am.
