Greenwich Man Arrested for Failure to Appear in 2017

On Friday Greenwich Police arrested Justin Henry, now 22, for Failure to Appear in Court back in 2017 when he was 20.

Around 4:00pm Justin Henry of Ann Street in Greenwich turned himself in at Greenwich Police headquarters.

Back on June 26, 2017 police investigated an alleged car break in in the Liberty Way parking lot. Rather than a break in, police discovered the incident was actually a drug transaction between friends.

Mr. Henry confessed that he had purchased marijuana from his friend who had obtained it from within his vehicle. He was also found to be driving with a suspended license. He was charged with Driving with a Suspended License, Possession of Narcotics and Interfering with an Officer.

Subsequently Mr. Henry missed a court date and a re-arrest warrant for Failure to Appear was issued.

Henry’s bond was set at $1,500 which he was able to post and he has a new court date in Stamford Superior Court on April 5, 2019.
