GPD Seek Tips on Burglary at House in Old Greenwich

Greenwich Police reported there was a Burglary at a house in Old Greenwich. The incident took place on Tuesday, March 15 at 2:22am.

“The house was occupied but the residents were upstairs sleeping,” said Captain Mark Zuccerella, adding the incident was not a home invasion. “There was NO CONTACT,” he added.

Police say suspects entered the home and stole several items. There was also an attempt on another nearby house the same night, and police are following up leads.

“We would like to remind residents to lock their doors, set their alarms if they have them, and report anything suspicious to us as it is occurring.”

Zuccerella said police had learned the suspects were in the area checking unlocked cars prior to entering the house.

Anyone with information or perhaps a video that may assist the investigation is asked to contact the GPD Detective Division at (203) 622-8054 or the Dispatch Center (24 hours) at (203) 622-8004.
