Greenwich Police report that in a new 2019 BMW 540i XDrive was stolen from the dealership at 355 W Putnam Avenue overnight on Nov 23.
According to Lt Slusarz the car was recovered in the Bronx, but many of its parts had been stripped.
In a separate incident, police say on Nov 24, loss prevention staff at Saks on Greenwich Ave reported a Chanel black and gold classic duo python clutch and a YSL red patent leather wallet were both stolen.
Also, some time between Nov 21 and Nov 23 operators of the Riverside railroad station coffee shop say someone smashed a window and took cash from the business. The operator of the business discovered the money missing when they returned from Thanksgiving.
