On Friday, July 19 around 12:45am Greenwich Police officers observed an erratic driver fail to maintain his lane heading southbound on I95 just before Exit 2.
A motor vehicle stop was initiated, but after the car stopped the driver backed his vehicle, a 2005 Toyota Camry, into the front end of the police car.
The driver, Victor Flores Brito, 35, of High Ridge Rd in Stamford was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard. He was charged with DUI, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane and Unsafe Backing.
He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on August 2, 2019. He was released on $250 bond.
