GPD Charge Man with Breach of Peace after Incident in Hospital ER Lobby

Greenwich Police responded to Greenwich Hospital to investigate an incident involving a man who was being disruptive in the emergency room lobby and causing alarm to hospital staff and visitors.

Police say hospital security staff reported that Richard Rousselot, 52, was yelling, creating a public disturbance and attempting to spit on a security guard.

While investigating, police determined that Mr. Rousselot had outstanding warrants from Stamford Police for Failure to Appear in Court.

Rousselot was arrested and charged with Breach of Peace 2 and Failure to Appear 2.

He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on June 15, 2022.

He was unable to post his $20,000 court set bond and was placed into a GPD cellblock.
