GPD Charge Driver Who Crashed into 3 Parked Cars and Drove Away

On January 26 around 11:00pm Greenwich Police arrested the driver of a Cadillac Escalade who crashed into three unoccupied parked cars on North Water Street in Byram and drove away.

The driver hit one car so hard that it hit the car parking in front of it, and that car hit the car in front of it.

The Cadillac had functional damage. The first car he hit sustained disabling damage.

Greenwich Police Lt Slusarz said a witness heard the crash and went outside and saw the white Cadillac Escalade drive off.

Police were able to track down the car.

The driver, Esteban Lopez, of Price Street in Port Chester was charged with Evading Responsibility and Improper Turn Signal.

He was released after posting a $100 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 11.
