On Feb 26 Greenwich Police extradited Darren Simpson, 53, of Hudson Ave in Poughkeepsie, NY was extradited from Westchester County Correctional Facility in Valhalla, NY.
Simpson was wanted on warrant for an incident back on Oct 18, 2016 at 1 North Water Street in Byram, where there was forced entry. Police say a cash register was pried open and cash taken.
Police said investigation is ongoing and did not release the amount of cash stolen.
Police developed a suspect and obtained the warrant. Simpson was already in custody in Valhalla and Greenwich Police collected him there.
Simpson was charged with Burglary 3 and Criminal Mischief 3.
Mr. Simpson’s bond was set at $150,000 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 12, 2019.
