DUI for Greenwich Driver Who Crashed in Chickahominy

On July 26, around 12:45am, Greenwich Police responded to Hamilton Avenue on a report of a car crash.

Upon arrival officers noted that the driver of the car, Tenzing Sherpa, 24, of Greenwich had bloodshot glassy eyes and the odor of alcohol.

Mr. Sherpa was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard. He admitted that he had been drinking beers at a friend’s house earlier.

He was charged with DUI and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane. He was able to post the required 10% of his $250 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 9, 2021.
