On Thursday around 1:30am Greenwich Police stopped a car that was allegedly speeding on the Post Road in Cos Cob.
The driver was clocked traveling 50mph in the 30mph zone.
When officers spoke to the driver, Adam Joseph Robinson, 21, of Andover, CT, they say they could smell alcohol on his breath.
Robinson was not able to perform field sobriety tests to standard.
He was charged with DUI and Speeding and his bond was set at $250.00
Robinson has a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 5, 2020.
