Melvin Emmanuelli Reyes, 34, of 106-12 Farragut Rd in Brooklyn NY was arrested and charged with DUI and Improper Operation on Sidewalk following an incident on Field Point Rd on Aug 13.
On the 13th, at about 5:00am, Greenwich Police were dispatched to 101 Field point Road on a report of a vehicle parked on the sidewalk with a man asleep at the wheel.
The driver was interviewed and identified as Melvin E. Reyes. While speaking with Reyes a distinct odor of alcohol was detected on Reyes’s breath and within the car.
Reyes was asked to exit the vehicle and to submit to a series of field sobriety tests which he was not able to perform to standard. He was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI, and Improper Operation on Sidewalk.
He was able to post his bond of $250 and assigned a court date on Aug. 29, 2016.
