Disorderly Conduct Charge for Angry Contractor Mad about Paint on His Coat

On Feb 11 numerous Greenwich Police responded to Deer Lane, which is off Lake Ave, on a report of a disagreement between construction workers on a job.

According to police one of the workers became upset when paint got on his sweater.

The worker, Richard J Clemens, 59, of Pauline Street in Stratford, allegedly became verbally aggressive with two other workers. The supervisor asked Clemens to leave but he refused, instead pushing and shoving his two co-workers.

When Clemens continued to be irate and went to shove a third co-worker, several co-workers brought Clemens to the ground in order to stop him from being aggressive with all of them.

Clemens was charged with Disorderly Conduct. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 25, 2019.
