Byram Man Faces Multiple Counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor, Strangulation Charges

On Saturday, April 23, Greenwich Police responded to Byram on a report of an incident between two people. Upon arrival, the victim and a juvenile witness were interviewed and the investigation revealed that during the argument, Rainaldo Morris, 20, of 75 Mead Ave, punched the victim in the forehead, leading to the two wrestling before Morris placed the victim in a rear neck choke hold.

Morris was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assault 3, Strangulation 2nd degree and three counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor.

His bond was set at $10,000 and assigned a court date of April 25, 2016.
