Ga (Sam) Zhang, 28, of 31 Mead Ave in Greenwich was arrested by Greenwich Police at about 3:20pm on Jan 4 after Greenwich Police were detailed to Byram on the report of a possible physical altercation. Upon arrival two people were interviewed.
The investigation revealed that Mr. Zhang engaged in an argument with the victim that became physical. He was also found to be in violation of a Criminal Protective Order that protects the victim.
Further, according to Greenwich Police, the offender provided false identifying information to officers on scene.
Mr. Zhang was charged with Criminal Violation of a Protective Order, Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with an Officer. His bond was set at $5,000 and he was assigned a court date of Jan 5, 2016 in Stamford Superior Court.
