Brooklyn Man Charged with Threatening after Incident in Old Greenwich

On April 11 just shy of midnight Greenwich Police responded to a call in Old Greenwich.

On scene investigation determined that the suspect, Maliek Patterson, 30, of Brooklyn, NY, sent threatening text message via cell phone to a victim.

The text messages included threats about destroying her residence and possessing a firearm.

Police arrested Patterson and charged him with Threatening 1st degree. He was assigned a date in court the next morning in Stamford Superior Court. He was released on $1,000 bond.
