Back Country Teen Arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear in 2013

police youth cellsOn Jan. 9 Greenwich Police responded to an address on Lower Cross Rd to attempt to serve a warrant for a 17-year-old juvenile. The warrant indicated that the boy was supposed to answer to motor vehicle charges at Stamford Superior Court on July 2, 2013.

The boy was located at the residence and taken into police custody. He was fingerprinted and photographed pursuant to Failure to Appear 2nd degree on original charges of Evading Responsibility and Operating without a License for an incident on Lafayette Place.

Unable to post a court indicated $25,000 bond, the boy was held in GPD custody and assigned a court date of Jan. 16 at Stamford Superior Court.
