At approximately 2:15pm on Thursday, Greenwich Police received a call about a fight involving two women at a business in Byram.
Officers arrived on scene and determined that there were two women in the business, and a third woman came into the business and initiated a physical altercation with the first two women.
During the altercation, a knife was used.
Police say the third party sustained a laceration to the mid-section and was transported to Greenwich Hospital for treatment for non life-threatening injuries.
The incident is an active investigation and is being conducted by the department’s Detective Division.
No further information will be released at this time as the investigation is on-going.
Police say there are no current threats to the public.
