The 2022 recipients are Officers Alan Arrington and Ryan Daly.
The Officer’s assignment has them investigating financial crimes, identity theft, and related fraud investigations.
Their investigations have led to over 70 felony arrests and several firearms recovered.
Many suspects they have arrested have criminal histories with aggravated assault, robbery, and weapons offenses or are wanted fugitives. Their investigations also identified numerous victims of identity theft and assisted law enforcement agencies across the United States with their identity theft and fraud investigations.
The outstanding and excellent work performed by Officers Arrington and Daly has been proactive in detecting, apprehending, and disrupting criminal activity in the Town of Greenwich.
Their efforts have increased community satisfaction and have made more effective and efficient use of Greenwich Police Officers in the central business district.
