$50,000 Bond for Man Whose Charges Include Strangulation

On Tuesday November 17, at approximately 7:20am, Louis B. Lopez, 38, arrived at Greenwich Police Headquarters in order to turn himself in on an active Felony Arrest Warrant held by Greenwich Police.

The warrant was for Disorderly Conduct, Using MV/Vessel without Owners Permission by Fraud, and Strangulation 2nd Degree. The charges stem back to an incident on Oct. 18 on Lewis Street.

Lopez was assigned a court date of Nov. 24 in Stamford Superior Court.

Lopez’s bond was set at $50,000,which he was unable to post. Lopez was detained at Greenwich Police Headquarters until being transported to Stamford Superior Court.
