Greenwich Police have arrested an 18-year-old on Burglary charges for an incident stemming back to June 17, 2024.
According to the criminal information summary, Savion I McKenna, 18 of Waterbury faces charges of Burglary 3 and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 3 – both class D felonies – for an incident on West Putnam Ave. According to the Norwalk Hour, police were called to the Ignite Smoke Shop on West Putnam Ave where investigators found the cash register had been broken into around 3:40 am, and an unspecified amount of cash stolen.
He was arrested on an outstanding warrant on June 28 when Greenwich Police officers traveled to Danbury Police Dept. Police transported McKenna back to Greenwich where he was processed and bond issued for $100,000, which he was unable to post.
He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 14, 2025.
According to the CT Judicial branch, McKenna is also due in court in Danbury on March 12 on a separate case stemming back to June 18, 2024 where he was charged by Danbury Police with Burglary 3, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 3, Criminal Mischief 1, Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Mischief 1 – all Class D felonies. he was also faces with misdemeanor charges for Larceny 6 and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 6.
