GCDS wants to add 20 new housing units and improvements to the Schwarz Campus, and an addition to the daycare facility. It is located in the RA-1 zone. Today the property has 44 residential units (64 bedrooms) served by 102 parking spaces, including 10 gravel spaces and 6 additional spaces.
Guests can see Kaya in Pinniped Cove and learn more about harbor seals, their adaptations, and conservation challenges. They can also catch a seal feeding, which occurs daily at 11:30am and 3:00pm.
This year’s program is titled, “How to Have ‘The Talk’ – How do Parents Talk to Their Kids About Inclusion,” and will feature keynote speaker Ali Morgan, Educational Consultant for ALKM Consulting.
While residents may never see the dispatch room, its impact is felt across the community, in faster response times, coordinated emergency efforts, and the steady presence of someone ready to answer the call.
