Greenwich Emergency Medical Services and residents of Hill House senior residence community in Riverside paired up for a lively night of dancing on Saturday. The “Dancing with the Stars” inspired event was emceed by Nancy Gillian. Before the six contestants took to the dance floor, a special group of dancers got the party started with a silly dance. From there, Nancy introduced the contestants by their stage names, starting with “Knock kneed Jackie and her partner, “Wish I could Dance Alex.”

On Monday, May 18, Alma Rutgers will receive the Barbara Nolan Award from Barbara’s House. Barbara’s House, formerly CCI, is a Greenwich social service agency providing local residents with a wide range of free services including after school programs, individual and group counseling, workforce development initiatives, special needs support groups, and citizenship prep.
