It’s time for an epidemic to spread. But don’t worry. This will be a positive one because it will be an epidemic of saying thank you to the men and women putting their lives on the line to protect ours.
We need to thank those who protect us. It’s time for all of us to thank service men and women whenever we see them. Is it too much to ask to stop and say thank you to them for all that they do for us?
Imagine if there was an epidemic of kindness and support where we actually take just long enough out of our days to pay tribute to those protecting our freedom and our lives.
It’s also important to thank every police person and fire person we see. We need to thank them for going into harm’s way to protect us. We need to teach our kids these are the good guys and teach kids to respect and appreciate them every day.
So let’s make this an epidemic worth spreading. Let’s show our service men and women and our police and firefighter first responders, even if they’re retired, that we appreciate everything they have done and will do for us.
