On Friday night, Metro North posted on X that a train had struck a person near Cos Cob.
A post at 8:39 pm noted New Haven Line customers were experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes.
A second post at 9:18 pm noted New Haven Line customers were experiencing delays of up to 35 minutes.
At 6:04 Saturday morning Metro North tweeted that New Haven Line service was operating on or close to schedule.
There was no information on the condition of the person hit by the train. This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
