OGRCC U11 Thunder Blue Boys Win Connecticut Cup Championship Title

OGRCC Thunder Blue U11 Boys won the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association’s CT Cup last Saturday, November 6, in Farmington, CT, against Stamford, 1-0.

Matthew Martschenko scored the winning goal.

Coach Roger Chavez leads the team, including George Alexopoulos, Kyle Fuzesi, Giovanni Garrido, Trevor Goodwin, Patrick Heflin, Oscar Horn, Hunter Lencsak, James Lockhart, Matthew Martschenko, Juan Cruz Mas, Henry Park, Andrew Ranalli and Diego Williams.

The OGRCC Thunder Blue U11 Boys last took the state title in June 2017 and was again led by Coach Roger Chavez.

OGRCC offers a comprehensive soccer program for ages 3-18 with various soccer development opportunities, including competitive tournaments.
