Following up on their stellar Greenwich High School careers, GHS girls volleyball captains Morgan Rafferty and Mica Lew have been playing this year for the Chelsea Piers U18 National Volleyball Team that has a very strong all-star feel.

Teaming up with FCIAC standouts Andrea O’Connor (Stamford), Meredith Pellegrino (McMahon), Nicole Vaccarella (Warde) Suzanne Goodnow (Greenwich) and Emily Ellis (Trinity), as well as King star Cara Shattan and Rye High School’s Jaime Donnelly, the team has had good success competing against squads from all over the country.

During the weekend of April 29-30, the Chelsea Piers team took home first place at the New England AAU Volleyball Championships at Simmons College in Boston, beating all comers without losing a single set.
