AuthorsLive Event at Greenwich Library to feature by Sheri Koones: “ADUs – The Perfect Housing Solution”

Update, March 23: this event is sold out.

AuthorsLive welcomes author Sheri Koones to Greenwich Library. She will be discussing her new book, ADUs: The Perfect Housing Solution, in conversation with Town of Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo and  Greenwich Real Estate Agent Mark Pruner.

An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a smaller housing unit built on the same lot as a primary dwelling (also known as Additional or Auxiliary Dwelling Units)— think granny flat, in-law unit, laneway house). From coast to coast across the US and Canada, ADUs: The Perfect Housing Solution gives you an inside look at 25 charming, ultra functional, extra living spaces which may inspire you to build one of your own.

Each house includes information about the type of construction, the major green features, and the myriad of uses—for family members, guest spaces, rental income, or more. Each featured ADU shows how to make the most of the small space for comfortable living without the burden of caring for a big house.

Books will be available for purchase and signing through Diane’s Books.

The talk is Tuesday, April 2, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm in Greenwich Library’s Marx Family Black Box Theater.
