Rocco Ceci, of Cos Cob, passed away March 3, 2025, at age 89.
He was born February 1, 1936, in Rose, Calabria, Italy to Luigi and Concetta Ceci.

In earlier years he worked as a shoemaker and held various jobs throughout his life working as a machinist in factories, finishing up at Pitney Bowes.
Rocco enjoyed traveling. Rocco also loved taking trips to Italy to spend time with his family and friends as well as Argentina. He loved to dance and was always quick to tell a joke. He enjoyed walking and playing cards at the Italian club that he belonged to.
He leaves behind many cherished nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Rocco was also predeceased by his three brothers, Vittorio, Francesco and Umile Ceci of Cos Cob as well as his sister Emilia Zygmont (Ceci) and five sisters, Rosa, Assunta, Carmela, Rosaria and Yolanda Ceci in Cosenza Italy.
To honor Rocco’s life, family and friends will gather on Friday 4:00-8:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 134 Hamilton Avenue Greenwich. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:00am at St. Catherine of Siena followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
