Paul Alvarez, formerly of Fairfield, Connecticut and Port Chester, New York passed away on January 14, 2026, two days before his 71st birthday. He was born in New Jersey to Frank and Philomena Alvarez. Paul worked for Imprint Advertising in Port Chester and Rockland County for more than 30 years and then for Morgan Manhattan in Greenwich.

He had a great love of music and truly valued his extensive record and CD collection, which spanned from classical music to classic rock, and which miraculously was just about the only thing to survive a fire in his Port Chester home a few years ago. He loved to converse about music and could talk forever on the subject. Paul was a kind and generous man who truly loved his family and their respective animals, always seeking to provide for them and make sure they were taken care of.
Paul is survived by his siblings, Thomas Alvarez and Sandra Alvarez, and nieces and nephews, Alyssa Kiessling (Lars), Alexander Alvarez and Casey Ventimiglia (Chris).
To honor Paul’s life, family and friends will gather on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich, 203-869-5968.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday 10:00am St. Roch’s Roman Catholic Church followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial donations can be sent to Best Friends Animal Society at bestfriends.org
