Michele Crudele, 79

Michele Crudele of Greenwich passed away on Wednesday, May 1 at age 79 surrounded by his loving family. Michele was born on July 15, 1944 in Bari, Italy to Antonio and Teresa Crudele. In 1971 he immigrated to the US with his wife Rosaria (Scarpelli) where together they built a fulfilling life in Greenwich.

Michele worked as a machine operator at Arnold’s Bakery for over 30 years.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as his wife’s delicious home cooked meals, a glass of Chianti and a good soccer game.

He was a devoted father, grandfather, cherished uncle and loyal friend to many. He is survived by his beautiful wife Rosaria of over 50 years, his loving children Teresa Iscaro (John), Anthony Crudele and Michela Kennedy (Michael) his cherished grandchildren Alexis, John, Tyler, Serena, Stefania and Mikey, and his adored siblings Nicola Crudele, Anna Cammarata, Maria Iastella, Francesca Losa, Rosa Crudele, and Roger Crudele.

He will be reunited in Heaven with his parents, brother Ferdinando Crudele and sister Laura Crudele. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

To honor Michele’s life, family and friends will gather at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Road in Mamaroneck NY, on Wednesday May 8 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Pelham, NY on Thursday, May 9 at 11:00 am.
